This workshop focuses on the principles of the individual theatre clown’s techniques through improvisation and physical aspect of acting. The workshop is open to performers of all levels and disciplines and is designed for those who would like to explore the world of clowning in greater detail. The workshop is inspired by the teachings of Jacques Lecoq and engages participants in a range of exercises, games and situations which stimulate the clown’s state – openness, presence and complicity with the audience. Throughout the workshop participants will explore their personal clowning narratives and will be guided to a gradual discovery of one’s comic persona on stage. Red nose provided.
