I honestly cannot recommend Igne’s work highly enough. Her workshops are absolutely buzzing with inspiration and her tutoring style is heartfelt, encouraging, and wise. ~ Johanna
BPTP is certainly a welcome relief to the usual approach to theatre training. Igne offers an approach that is based on an embodiment rather than imitation, which is why it’s so well suited to people of all experiences and ages, too. If you’ve ever been curious about clowning, acting, mask work, and improvisation, as a curiosity or professional, I recommend giving her workshops a whirl. ~ Aaron
This has been a long time coming! I love Igne’s courses and I encourage anyone interested in Lecoq-based movement, clowning & mask work to try one of her workshops out. Igne is an excellent facilitator, generous with her time, sensitive and fulfilling the needs of the group and individuals in it. Not only are the workshops chocka-block full of physical activity, games, and insights, but Igne is able to draw out the best in people during the improvisation that takes place and gives carefully considered feedback. ~ Alex
I have been attending Bristol Physical Theatre Project whenever I can for about two years now. It is BRILLIANT. If you’re a performer, director, theatre-maker, or just interested in movement or telling stories, you need to go! Affordable, experimental, magical. ~ Arthur
Engaging and thought provoking as well as developing skills that will assist in creating performance. I really value the physical aspect of acting, too often acting is performed cerebrally. The trainer Igne was excellent and made sure we all got involved. ~ Shekhar
I really enjoyed the workshop and would definitely like to attend another one. This was a fantastic opportunity for me to continue my training/exploration and connect with other artists. It was extremely refreshing and I felt very welcome. ~ Sophie
The workshop was great. Igne is an incredible workshop leader! I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and hope to come back. I’d never done much physical theatre work before but it was a well structured class and really enjoyable. ~ Meg
Igne is, without doubt, one of the best and most professional theatre person I have ever met. I highly recommend to all actors, to participate in any of her workshops. High quality actor training, technique, creativity, lots of fun and sweat, and the opportunity to research and develop your own way of creating, is what you will find with her. She offers a wide selection of training, wether you are interested in the basics of physical theatre or more specific theatre styles and techniques, I’m sure you will feel really satisfied after working with her. After a year living in Bristol, and after several workshops with Igne, I can say that, this is the only place I can rely on for my professional training as an actress and theatre maker. ~ Raquel
